I am an expat from London, now living in the USA.

As the name of this blog states – I am Far from London right now. But London is always going to be in my heart. The other reason this blog is called Far From London is because wherever your home is, wherever your original home is, you should always strive to travel far away from there!

Check out new places, new experiences, new cultures and more! Travel as far as you can when you can!

I was born in England and moved to the USA as an adult with my American husband. I have two kids and a Bernadoodle and they have traveled far and wide with us also over the years (the kids not the dog!)

I frequently go back to England, as well as travel to many other places whenever I can and am able to.

My Travel Bucket List!

Everyone needs to have a travel bucket list – and I would encourage you to make one now if you haven’t already done so. Here is my travel bucket list. I hope to be able to check things off this list soon and write about them here! I will keep adding to this list as I think of places I want to go!

* Visit Petra & Jordan
* Visit Egypt, especially the pyramids and Valley of the Kings
* Visit Canada – anywhere, so I can say I went to Canada! ( I saw Canada once from the middle of Lake Erie! I was so close yet so far!)
*Visit the Amalfi Coast, Italy
*Visit Venice and ride on a gondola
*Visit Australia
*Visit New Zealand
*Visit the Grand Canyon (I flew over it and saw it from the air but haven’t actually walked in it)
*Visit Japan
* Visit Prague
*Visit Istanbul
* Visit Ireland
* See the Great Wall of China
* Visit Manchu Pichu
* Visit India
* See the leaning Tower of Pisa
* Visit New Orleans (done! )
